Dr. Aaryn L. Green

Senior Director, Student Formation

Dr. Aaryn L. Green (she/her) is the inaugural Senior Director of Student Formation in the Division of Student Affairs. A scholar-practitioner, author, and educator, she provides strategic leadership for the Identity and Community Formation team, overseeing the operations of the Office of Student Equity and Inclusion, supporting the directors of the Cultural Centers, and advancing initiatives that foster belonging, identity development, and student success across the university.

A first-generation graduate student from East Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Green is a three-time alumna of the University of Cincinnati, where she earned her Ph.D. in sociology. For more than a decade, she has led transformative student success and inclusion initiatives in higher education and national professional organizations, including John Carroll University and the American Sociological Association. Her work is grounded in restorative practices, inclusive excellence, and creating environments where all students can thrive.

Outside of her professional role, she enjoys attending concerts, traveling, spending time with family and friends, cooking, engaging in philanthropy, and supporting HBCU-style high school and collegiate marching bands as both a fan and volunteer.

Assistant Director, Cultural Centers

Narges (she/her) is a higher education professional with experience in student affairs, student conduct, residential living, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. In her role with Georgetown University’s Office of Student Equity & Inclusion (OSEI), she helps oversee the day-to-day operations of the office and the systems, spaces, and processes that allow OSEI’s programs and services to run effectively.

Her work includes coordinating OSEI space operations and reservations, supervising student staff, managing front desk operations, supporting event and program logistics, coordinating facilities and operational needs, and assisting with purchasing, budgeting, and administrative processes. She also works closely with OSEI staff and campus partners to strengthen internal systems, improve communication and workflow, and help ensure that students and community members experience OSEI as a welcoming, organized, and accessible space.

Narges holds a Master’s degree in Women’s and Gender Studies, with a focus on Women, Leadership & Social Change. Her professional interests include operational effectiveness, student staff development, community building, restorative engagement, and creating systems and environments that support belonging, connection, and student success.
